During my time off between jobs, I traveled to Joshua Tree with my sister.  It has been one of the National Parks that has been on my bucket list for some time.  The iconic “Dr. Suess” looking trees within the park leave for so much inspiration.  Visiting in March was the perfect time to visit as the temperature was mild (high 70s low 80s) compared to what it is like in the summer. Additionally, the wild flowers were beginning to form up the desert landscape in the southern part of the park which made for a picturesque stop along the way to wander.  My sister and I decided to drive through the park and stop at exhibits to climb and explore.  It is definitely a trip worth taking while in southern California.
