Over Thanksgiving weekend, I went up to Napa Valley with my family for a little of what I like to call our version of Black Friday fun. We planned to spend Friday in the valley exploring some of the staple wineries. The photo story from above captures scenes with the beautiful backdrop of Mondavi Winery and Brix Restaurant (part of Kelleher Family Vineyard). For late November, the temperature was a little cool so I went for a casual layered look that was comfortable and functional. I absolutely love this split-side open cardigan from Banana Republic. I caught it on sale during BR’s Friends and Family Sale and its bound to go on sale again before Christmas! It’s made up of the most cozy merino wool and its deconstructed split sides gives a cool twist on the classic cardigan. When exploring Napa, regardless of what time of year, its important to dress comfortably and in items that make you feel good. I found that the layers helped and when touring cellars and the grounds of the vineyards, its nice to come prepared. Enjoy your Sunday!
